We recommend renting your tuxedo for prom 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure that the color, style, and size of tuxedo or suit you prefer is available. However, we will do our best to accommodate every request – even with rentals from our on-hand inventory of tuxedos and suits.  Prom tuxedo rentals must be made at least two weeks prior to event to avoid rush fees.

You will come to one of our three store locations in Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, or Janesville and be fitted for a tuxedo or suit so it fits you well. You will select the color and style you prefer. We will send your selection and measurements to our rental partner. Your tuxedo or suit will arrive at J. Robert’s already tailored for you. When you pick up the rental before your event we will have you try it on to ensure the garments are tailored for you. We can also make some alterations on-site. Yes, we have a wide range of styles and colors for prom tuxedos that allow you to match a dress, school color, or create a custom look including traditional black and white, all white, as well as different shades of gray and blue.  Looking for burgundy or green?  We have those as well! Over 27 of our 95+ tuxedo coat styles and colors are fun and funky prom tuxedo coats.

We offer a variety of options to choose from. We have complete packages that include a tuxedo coat, pant, shirt, shoes, and tie or bow tie starting at $230-$280 + tax. Yes, we offer a package price that includes the suit or tuxedo, vest, shirt, tie or bow tie, and shoes. Suspenders, socks, and other accessories are extra. Depending on the style, our complete tux packages start at $230+ tax. We also offer packages without the shoes or with following a la carte options:

We recommend renting a tuxedo or suit at least a few weeks in advance of prom to ensure that we have the style and size you need available. However, we do have a limited selection of tuxedos and suits available for last-minute rentals.

Yes, we have tuxedos and suit rentals for big and tall size men for prom and any other occasion.  All of our tuxedo rentals are tailored to ensure a great fit.

You can return your rental by bringing it back to the store on the specified return date. Please make sure all items are included.  Late returns will have a fee assessed.
